YOUTH FISHING DERBY Come catch the fun at the annual Rick LeFevre Fishing Derby conducted by the Rome Parks & Recreation Department in collaboration with the Rome Fish Hatchery and Knights of Columbus Rome Council 391. This year’s Derby will be held Saturday, May 19th at Guyer Fields Wood Creek from 10:00am-11:00am. The event is FREE and for kids 15 years of age and younger. Registration starts at 9:30am on location. Awards for the first fish caught and the largest and smallest fish in each age category will be provided following the event. Thanks to the Rome Fish Hatchery for stocking the creek with trout. For further information please contact the Recreation Department at 315-339-7654.
