Virtual Arduino Camp
Students will bring gadgets of all sorts to life with electrical engineering hardware and software! Students will receive an Arduino kit with a multitude of sensors and electrical equipment to assemble into a system and e-programmed with a simplified Python language. The specific microprocessor and attachments are designed to help students build an electrical system and program it to complete a task. They will discover how engineering and programming work together to make their new and exciting inventions a reality! At the end of the camp the students will have a good understanding of electrical engineering and programing, but most importantly they will be able to keep their kits for personal use! Topics covered include: Programming Fundamentals Input/Output Devices Basic Voltage & Current Calculations Various Other Electronic Principles Dates: Monday, July 13 - Thursday, July 16, 2020 Time: 9 am - 12 pm Place: Online- Zoom Live Stream Cost: $50; Scholarships available Age Group: Grades 8th - 12th Max Class Size: 16 students Children can only participate in those camps designed for their age group.
