Description
The Rome Area Chamber of Commerce’s mission, since 1912, has been to provide business advocacy and to promote and encourage economic growth in the Rome Area. With that in mind, the Rome Area Chamber of Commerce Business Assistance Fund (BAF). was launched to assist local businesses that are now at risk of remaining solvent.
To kick off this effort, the Chamber has seeded the BAF with $5,000 and raised nearly another $25,000 from individuals and businesses that are fortunate enough to be able to help. One hundred percent of all contributions will go directly to local struggling small businesses that need help the most.

Contributions are not tax deductible.
Awards to recipients will range from $500 and up, and our executive committee will evaluate applications and make awards based on the needs and funding available.
