The Rome Chamber helps retailers in the community succeed with promotion programs such as the Shop Rome First. Forty-five participating Rome businesses donate $12,000 in prizes that are given out by the Shop Rome First campaign in December each year.
Basic retail abounds with a mix of Rome-grown specialty shops, with owners on the premises and at your service. The Rome Main Streets™ Alliance is working to revitalize three commercial corridors: James Street, West Dominick Street, and East Dominick Street.
