According to Bert Sperling's "Cities Ranked & Rated: Your Guide to the Best Places to Live in the U.S. and Canada," our region is one of the least-stressed mid-sized metropolitan statistical areas in America. Only two other places were ranked less stressful places to live.
The March 2004 edition of Inc. magazine ranks our region one of the "Top 25 Small Cities for Doing Business in America" based on affordability, and the current historical job growth as the most objective indicator of a region's economic vitality for entrepreneurs.
