Oneida-Madison-Herkimer BOCES

Board of Cooperative Educational Services

BOCES includes school districts in a 549 square-mile area comprising Oneida, Herkimer, and Madison counties. These are voluntary, cooperative associations of school districts which work together to provide educational and business services more economically than each could offer by itself. BOCES was created by the New York State Legislature in 1948.
