Griffiss Social Activities Club

The Chamber, in cooperation w/ GLDC and Griffiss employers, is working to create an atmosphere at the Park that assists employers in maintaining and growing a productive workforce. Employees of Griffiss civilian firms and military organizations are volunteering their time as members of GSAC and exploring various entertainment, cultural, and recreational options that Park employees might enjoy. Representatives of Griffiss employers interesting in participating in GSAC are encouraged to email info@romechamber.com.

What is GSAC?

for those who work AT THE PARK!

At meetings in February 2007, we discussed future events and levels of activity that the Griffiss Social Activities Club might undertake. We realized very quickly that our involvement may take different forms.

For example, there will be times when we will sponsor our own events, such as our "Party at the Park" in December 2006. There may be times that we support, when appropriate, events of other organizations and encourage our members to attend and join in on the fun. On the other hand, we may only want to be in a position to suggest events or activities Griffiss employees might consider attending w/ no involvement at all by GSAC.
