WCNY presents Taste of Fame with Chef Richard Blais. A successful restaurateur and cookbook author, Richard is perhaps most recognizable as a regular judge on Food Network and the winner of Bravo’s “Top Chef All-Stars.” The award-winning event takes place at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14 at the Oncenter, 800 S. State St. Syracuse. Prior to the dinner, a TV recording event takes place at the WCNY Studios, 415 W. Fayette St. in Syracuse at 4:15 p.m. The four-course culinary dinner journey (6:15 p.m.) features a menu specially crafted by Richard, along with a story to accompany each course. The best in Finger Lakes wine accompanies each course. The new Richard Blais Experience Ticket features a spectacular seven-course “Brunch with Blais” the following morning at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 15 at Modern Malt Bakeshop located at 325 S. Clinton St. in Syracuse. Proceeds from Taste of Fame benefit WCNY’s programs and services.
