The Alliance Classical Players return to the Rome Art and Community Center with a unique, holiday-themed performance. Saturday December 16th, from 7:00 – 10:00 PM, guests will ‘Stroll Through the Center’ and enjoy a variety of Christmas-inspired musical stylings. Performances will take place throughout the Center. Guests will enjoy complementary refreshments and a home filled with holiday music. • First, the vocal group Tapestry, conducted by Rob Kolb, will greet arriving guests with carols. • Then Jewel Winds will perform in the Living Room. • The Alliance Classical Brass will entertain guests upstairs in Gallery One. • Strolling violinist TJ McAvaney will be strolling the First Floor. • Tapestry will cap off the evening by leading a holiday ‘Staircase Sing’. Performance times will be staggered to allow guests to fully enjoy each and every group. The Alliance Classical Players now call the Rome Art and Community Center ‘home’. With this performance, the Players and the Center celebrate this partnership. The Alliance Classical Players formed in 2014 with the intent of bringing listener-friendly chamber music to Rome. Vocal group Tapestry is well known for its mastery of early sacred and secular polyphony, and have performed throughout Central New York, as well as in Austria, Hungary, and Spain. T.J. McAvaney is a witty and charming violinist that performs with the Catskill Symphony, Utica Symphony, and the Delta String Quartet. Tickets are $30.00 per person, $25.00 for RACC Members. To purchase tickets, call the Center at 315-336-1040. Join us for this elegant, immersive musical experience.
