Description
The Ava Dorfman Center will sponsor their annual Senior Services Expo on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Center, 305 E. Locust St. The Expo will be open to the public from 9:00am – 2:00pm, with a wide variety of booths sponsored by public and private organizations and businesses, including licensed Medicare advisors to assist with information and questions, working directly or indirectly with the members of our population who are 50 and over. The day’s events will include screenings, food and a Silent Auction. Also, flu shots will be given by Rome Hospital from 9:00am – 11:30am and Price Chopper from 11:30am-2:00pm. Many local organizations and businesses donate financially or materially to help underwrite the costs associated with this large effort to provide information on the programs and services available in the area, all under one roof!
