Description
For centuries, we’ve known that the health of the brain and the body are connected. But now, science is able to provide insights into how to make lifestyle choices that may help you keep your brain and body healthy as you age. Join us to learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity, and social engagement, and use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging. Provided by the Alzheimer’s Association, CNY Chapter, the program is one hour long and is intended for people of any age looking to age as well as possible. We ask that all guests to our public education programs register in advance. Not only does this help to plan whether to bring 15 or 50 copies of our materials, but it also allows us to contact you in case weather or other emergency forces us to cancel the program. Unfortunately, programs with minimal registrations will have to be cancelled. If you do not register, you are still welcome to attend, but please contact us to confirm that the program is still scheduled. (315) 472-4201 ext. 100
