Unemployment rates across the country are at the lowest since December, 1969! This is great news unless you are an employer with job openings and everyone that wants to work is working. Employers need to know there are pockets of our population that still have high rates of unemployment and want to work. There are resources that HR and Business Professionals need to be more aware of. Due to this need, Mohawk Valley SHRM (MVSHRM) is providing the HR and Business community with a program that brings all of the Mohawk Valley’s resources together to provide alternative resources that can assist in “Finding a Well-Rounded Workforce”. Participants will each provide a presentation followed by a panel discussion which will include info on how to employ refugees, people with disabilities, veterans, and ex-offenders.
