Business Assistance

• The Chamber sponsors business seminars throughout the year through its Professional Development Committee. The Chamber’s conference room facilities are available to its members by appointment.

• First Dollar of Profit awards. The Chamber arranges a photo opportunity with the Rome Sentinel, providing newspaper publicity and recognition for new businesses. A Chamber ambassador provides a framed “Dollar of Profit” certificate for display.

• The Chamber will arrange appointments with RIDC (Rome Industrial Development Corp.), SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives), and SBCD (New York State Small Business Development Center) for FREE business counseling & assistance.

• The Chamber compiles information, prints and makes available, a demographic and statistics guide as well as a clubs and organizations list.
